My Blushing Bridal Shower

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, Julie Baker, Sharon LaBudde, Susan Mitchell, Brenda Vanderslice & Bev Wade hosted the utmost beautiful bridal shower that a girl could ever dream of having before getting married. I felt so blessed to be surrounded by so many of my friends & family as they showered me with love & so much more in the home of Susan Mitchell.
It was a mid-morning affair filled with some of the tastiest hors d'oeuvres, Taziki’s weekend special, cookies, mimosas & laughter galore.
I felt so loved as each friendly face walked through the front door & into a bridal shower dream!
As per usual, I was sure to make my rounds & talk to everyone that came out to support me. Getting married is a major step in a girl’s life, therefore, it’s good to take note of who takes time to celebrate with you! These are the people who love to share your happiness... they’re keepers 😉
While surrounded by friends, family & about 5 different wedding cake toppers for everyone to enjoy, I began to open all of the gifts that my friends & family showered me with!
Y’all, my people went above & beyond. My heart fluttered every time I opened a gift. While unwrapping each gift, visions of me & Hopper using this stuff kept flowing through my mind! (Cheesy I know, but I’m not kidding).
I’ve been so blessed to be surrounded by family & friends who traveled near & far to shower me as a bride. 👰🏼 I had friends & family fly across the country, travel 7+ hours in a car with a newborn baby, drive to Memphis for the day etc. As each person walked through the door, my heart warmed up knowing that they were there to celebrate my transition from longtime girlfriend & fiancé to becoming a blushing bride!
So cheers to the ones who came and celebrated my last few moments of being a Tillman! But now, let’s pop that Chan•pagne because this girl changed her name 💕
